ABOUT
Coming from a non sporty background I found yoga when I was 40, as a way to help recover from posture related problems with my back and shoulders. I started out with yoga classes at the gym and soon noticed the positive changes in my body and overall wellbeing. I was feeling stronger and leaner, my posture and energy levels improved. Poses which I had found difficult to start with became easy as my strength and flexibility increased.
Since then I have practiced and enjoyed many different styles of yoga and met amazing people along the way. My journey within yoga is ever evolving. I’m deeply grateful to all of my teachers and students for providing me with constant inspiration on my path.
My teaching qualifications include 200hr training with Sally Parkes Yoga , 100hr Yin Yoga with Sebastian Pucelle and Murielle Burellier and 37,5hr Embodied Relational Yoga Therapy: The Art of Teaching One to One with Kate Ellis, Teaching Mindfulness Meditation with Michael Stone, Restorative Yoga with Adelene Cheong, Demystifying Yoga Retreats with Kirsty Gallagher.
My classes are breath centred and inclusive. Everyone works from their own starting point. I aim to empower my students to find balance and strength within, to listen to their own unique bodies and increase the sense of wellbeing both physically and mentally.
Hope to see you on the mat soon!
Love & light,
Pernilla
