ONLINE YOGA CLASSES
The online yoga classes will continue again in September.
Thank you all lovely yogis who joined the classes online via Zoom these last few months.
In yoga, the life force energy (prana) travels through the subtle body along channels called nadis. In Chinese Medicine the energy is called Qi or Chi and the channels are the Meridian lines. These channels intersect at points of intensified energy, and these are the Chakras, or Wheels: spinning energy centres in the subtle body. They regulate all parts of the bodily system, influencing everything from emotional processing to resistance to disease.
Yoga has long been used to help to unblock and balance the chakras, to promote the flow of positive energy throughout the entire body. The practice next week will include a well rounded sequence and a guided meditation to bring all the chakras into alignment. Get in touch with your energy centres and bring more creativity, confidence and joy into your life!
The classes are very gentle on the hands, wrists and shoulders, no extreme yoga poses. Suitable for all levels, including beginners, seniors and experienced yogis who want a slower, more nurturing practice.
How to join:
After an introduction of the class I will ask all participants to mute their microphones. It's always nice to see the students, but if you prefer to turn your own camera off during the class, then that is absolutely fine!
You only need a yoga mat or any other kind of exercising mat to participate. You might also want a firm pillow or a blanket at hand for support in the poses. Maybe play some soft background music, light a candle or use your favourite essential oil to set the scene...
